Celebrating 10 years of research.
The National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) will be holding its 10th Annual Research Meeting (NCAM) this 18 to 19 August 2023 (Friday to Saturday), at the NUHS Tower Block Auditorium. NCAM has been bringing cancer researchers in the NUHS cluster and across Singapore together for the past decade, providing a platform for clinicians, scientists, and other professionals to gather and share the progress in cancer science and medicine.
Themed ‘Reflecting on the Past, Reimagining the Future’, NCAM 2023 seeks like-minded investigators to inspire innovation and build knowledge, connections and collaborations. Cancer remains the leading cause of morbidity and mortality globally, and the need to accelerate understanding in cancer biology and translating scientific knowledge to change clinical practice with the ultimate goal of having a positive impact on cancer outcome remains a high priority.
NCAM 2023 will take place over two half-days, consisting of short-series scientific talks, oral abstract presentations, a morning educational session, an afternoon plenary session and a Hear-the-Journey session.
Scientific posters will be displayed at the NUHS Tower Block Foyer for exhibition. We welcome abstract submissions on any aspects of cancer research to NCAM 2023. Abstract submissions will be categorised into Basic Science, Translational Science, Clinical Science, Nursing Paramedical/ Supportive Care/ Pharmacy, Quality Improvement Projects, Digital Health/AI.
Playing on the theme of “Reflecting on the Past, Reimagining the Future“, we decided to experiment with a futuristic style at the start.
In the end, we decided to stay true to the academic nature of the event and stuck to a clean and professional branding for the logo, poster, and banner.
